Question

I’ve noticed files are initially approved, but those under review are later rejected.

If I upload 10 files and 4 get accepted while 6 remain under review, will deleting those 6 files cause any account issues? I’ve noticed files are initially approved, but those under review are later rejected.

Stock receives thousands of submissions per week.

    • Assets are randomly assigned to the next available Reviewer.
    • Depending on traffic, review times can vary from a few days to several weeks.
    • Be patient.

Do not delete pending assets unless you know they contain issues that require correction.

In the future, compare your work with current Stock inventory, BEFORE you submit. To be accepted, content should be as good or better than what Stock is selling.

    Hi @Sagori ,

The files left back in review is not necessarily for refusal. Therefore, it is best leaving them for moderation.

    Best wishes

@daniellei4510 How can I know whether my file will be rejected or not? I don’t work with AI; I do handmade work. Even then, they reject it for similar content. I upload 5 design sets every day. Out of those, 2 or 3 get accepted, and the rest stay under review. Later, they get rejected for being similar content. That’s why I delete them from review before they get rejected.

I went all day today without a review. First time in three years. Maybe Adobe cut back on moderators’ hours or the number of them. No one knows. Of course you don't know what will be rejected or not, especially when it comes to similar content. EVERYONE is dealing with that issue right now. Bottom line, deleting assets from the under review queue has no bearing on anything at all. If they get rejected, use them to better understand why when submitting going forward.

@daniellei4510 @Jill_C @RALPH_L I delete them for that reason. I’ve heard that they increase or decrease an account’s rank based on the files they reject. So if the number of rejected files in my account is low, does that mean my account rank will definitely increase?

Unless what you heard was from an Adobe employee (highly doubtful), there is no evidence rejected files increase or decrease one’s ranking. If the ranking means anything, I believe it’s based on one’s sales, not one’s rejections. But then I don’t know any more than anyone else when it comes to what the ranking system even means. If you think your files have a likelihood of being rejected, then I guess don’t submit them. But I don’t try to second guess the moderator’s decisions.

Why go to the trouble of deleting them? If they’re rejected for cause or deleted by you, they’re still not accepted and saleable…

As @daniellei4510 poste, there is no reason to delete the remaining assets. There is probably a valid reason if they get rejected.

It won’t cause issues, but why delete them? Only a few assets are placed in front of moderators at a time. They know nothing about any assets still left in the queue. If they get rejected, that’s what you call a coincidence. :)
