Question

I want to have both png and jpeg formats from the same asset

Hello, I want one of my assets to be in both png and jpeg format. It is currently available in both png and jpeg formats in the same asset. If I upload both at the same time, will it be detected as duplicate content and will my contributor account be closed?

1. PNG files must have a "transparent background". After uploading, the background will be gray and white. The system will automatically generate PNG (transparent background) and JPG pure white background.

2. Upload PNG with background, whether it is color or pure white, will be Treat as JPG

"The system will automatically generate PNG (transparent background)"

As stated, this is misleading. The system will not automatically generate PNG files.

"Upload PNG with background, whether it is color or pure white, will be Treat as JPG"

Assets with a solid background should always be uploaded as JPGs.

You are right, thank you for the correction. It should be a translation error. The correct answer is: upload a transparent background png file, and the system will automatically generate a solid color background jpg

You should submit only the PNG asset. The JPEG asset will be offered and generated automatically by Adobe stock. Submitting JPEG and PNG for the same asset is spamming.

When you upload a png with transparency the jpg is created automatically by Adobe. No need to upload the 2 file formats.

Yes, you are right, I just realized it, but can you take a look at why such a thing is shown in a PNG asset I uploaded?

I uploaded a PNG but only jpeg seems to be downloadable. Will the buyer be able to choose png or jpeg?

You may have made an error, and you uploaded the JPEG version of your asset. Assets do not get modified during the process.

As a side note: you should either remove the asset, or change the description. There is no transparency for JPEG assets.

Probably, if the jpeg only has a colored background.
