An example of a picture rejected for QUALITY issues from my recent submission. The submission was rejected for this reason within 48 hours. It is typical of my work and previous submissions have been accepted. Can anyone help me understand why?

    Hi @grahamneden

Composition is okay, but the picture is noisy, and not in sharp focus.

    Best wishes

The photo is slightly underexposed, has some noise, needs sharpening and should be cropped and composed to to fit  the Rule of Thirds.

    Notice the difference?

    Hello,

    Read about composition from Adobe:

You may also want to remove those stems at the bottom and the flowers at the left. They are a bit distracting.
Having the bee in focus would help a lot.

The out of focus flower on the left is a bit of a distraction.

Thanks - that is useful. It was a crowded scene, so maybe I need to be more precise!

    GOOD NEWS for you.

Stock has almost no competing content for “Grape Hyacinth with Bee” or "Bee on Grape Hyacinth."

For that reason, you should fix the problems in Photoshop or Lightroom and resubmit.

    Good luck!
