Illustration rejected due to market appeal/marketability

(I hope I translated the term correctly, my message was in german.)

Funny thing is, it`s number 3 of a series and the other 2 sell pretty good.

My question is, does it make sense to contact Adobe with issues like this or

should I upload it again and hope the illustration might be accepted this time

(never done that before..is it even ok to reupload?)

thanks everyone

  • Reviewers decisions are final.
  • There is no appeals process.
  • If possible, add or remove elements to your illustration to make it more commercially appealing to customers.
  • Then resubmit.

That's the best you can do.

Post the message in German. Wir sprechen auch deutsch. If the decision was borderline, a different moderator may be accepting the asset. "ÄSTHETISCHES AUSSEHEN ODER MARKTGÄNGIGKEIT VON BILDERN" is a soft refusal. You should wait a couple of weeks before reuploading.

Rejections based on "commercial appeal" are obviously quite subjective, and I'm certain that the Moderator didn't know that your similar images have actually sold. There is no way for you to dispute the findings of the Moderators, so don't bother contacting them to discuss the rejection. You might choose to edit it slightly and submit again at a later time. Resubmitting identical content can get you accused of spamming the database, and if that happens too often your account can be suspended.
