Illustrative Editorial Issues

Hi everyone. I've noticed that my brand logo submissions, other than those from social media, are consistently rejected. Anyone else experiencing this? Any advice or insights on how to navigate this? Thanks!

At the risk of mixing metaphores, you're spitting into the wind while going down a rabbit warren. It's a waste of time.

Stock is a commercial assets service.  Customers come to Stock when they need high quality images for use in commercial projects. Emphasis on commercial use.

If I ever need a Google or Nike logo for journalistic purposes, I go directly to the source.  And it's free.

Q: Why would Stock customers pay for official brand logos they can obtain elsewhere for free?

A: They wouldn't.

You're trying to fill a need that doesn't exist.

Find something else to submit to Stock.

No, all my illustrative editorials get accepted. What is the rejection reason? What type of assets do you submit (vector, illustration, photo)? Please post one of the rejected with the rejection reason (header only!).

What reason was given for the rejection? Are they real brands from real companies?  Are you submitting them as Illustrative editorial? How did you obtain these logos?

I've tried to upload vector logos of major brands like google, adidas, nike, and others but they always get rejected with reason being "illustravite editorial issue." The only editorial vector files getting accepted from my side is social media logos of brands like facebook, instagram, whatsapp and others. How do I resolve the issue? Thanks for responding!

Companies strictly protect their brand identity and the integrity of their logos. Any logos you submit for Illustrative Editorial must be identical in every way to a logo produced by the company itself.

Without actually seeing the logos in question, most companies have very strict requirements as to how their logos can be used, in terms of color matching, placement, sizing relative to other elements nearby on a page, etc. In fact, many companies offer media kits containing their logos, with detailed descriptions on how they can and can't be used. So most companies probably wouldn't welcome their logos being presented in ways other than allowed. Again...this is without having seen the logos in question.
