Image accepted and then rejected. Please critique.

Hi, I had this png accepted, and then a few days later it was rejected for quality. Presumably it's my cutting that needs to improve. However, the beak isn't as sharp as the feathers. I'd welcome any comments. Thanks.

The image has been rightfully rejected. Your cutout work needs to be improved.

When you put your image against a background, and you are going above stamp sized images, you will see the errors.

The eye is sharp, that's the most important part of a portrait, but you could enhance it a bit.

You should also improve the exposure
