Hi all! I recently had this photo declined for "Non-compliant image", but I really have no clue what the problem is. Does anyone know what it could be?

I think you might need a property release for this.

Property types that may require a property release:

  • Famous landmarks, historic locations, and modern architecture
  • Copyrighted works like art, books, maps, fictional characters
  • Identifiable exterior or interior of private homes and buildings

Hi Munzen, This is a beautiful photograph. If you get a rejection for non-complient, it means it was rejected before. Check to see what it was then rejected for and make correction before resubmitting. There is arch writing on the wall by the waterfall. That has to be removed. Check for any other writing that might be there and have them removed.

Best wishes

Hello Munzen,

When you photograph a well-known place like this one, you must be sure there are no recognizable issues like the name of a street, symbol on buildings or arches and so forth. Also, be sure there are no watermarks or signatures. Look at your work at 100 -200 % enlargement to see if you left something showing. The other possibility is that you named the place in the title. Careful with word selection also. Here is an additional bit of information for your understanding about this reason for rejection. Best wishes, JH

Non-compliant:

Reasons content is rejected at Adobe Stock The following is a quote for non-compliant:

"This reason means that your content doesn’t comply with our Contributor Agreement. Content may be non-compliant due to watermarks, inappropriate or irrelevant keywords or image titles, or questionable, or defamatory content. Your file is also rejected as non-compliant if you receive a reminder to submit a model or property release or resolve a problem with a release, and you resubmit the file without addressing the release issue."
