Image rejected for quality issues, why?

My image was rejected for quality issues, but nothing specific. Of course, I like my image and I don’t see the issue can you illuminate?

    Thanks for the response. It's shot f16, with a close focus, and a fill flash. I take that you're a regular contributor. The flower in the background I wouldn't have thought of. The shallow depth of field is for isolating the subject, which I thought would be desired. I can't step down anymore. More feedback would be great. And I appreciate yours as well, pardon the grammar

    Understood, but I think it’s these two stems here that distract from what you were attempting. And maybe less stem and more sky might also improve the composition.

    Depth of field is probably considered too shallow. There’s also a flower that appears to be floating in the background that should have been removed.
