It'll be a great help to me if the veteran contributors help me find out the reason why my this image got rejected.

When zoomed in to 100% view, the photo is lacking fine details and appears overly saturated.  There are noticeable artefacts and splotches of color in the sky.  There is a noticeable halo between the sky and foreground.  The buildings on the right side of the city skyline are also pretty distorted.

Although mobile phone photos are accepted, mobile phones aren't great tools for photography because of their small sensor size and the limitations such as a fixed wide open aperture.

It's a cool shot, but it misses the mark from a technical perspective in my opinion.  Hope you have better luck with future submissions 🙂

I agree with @George_F , the picture is overprocessed. Noise reduction worked very agressivly, yo see it at the right with that electricity pilon who gets simply nearly wiped out. The optical defects introduced by your wide angle lens are considerable. you see chromatic aberration at the houses, even that, due to the processing, all detail has been wiped out.

As this, it's a nice picture and on social media, I would like it, but for commercial use, it's missing the required quality. With a small sensor camera, you should try less demanding scences. It is possible to submit images with such cameras, but the light situation needs to be optimal, processing minimal. If you can shoot raw and process yourself, that would be best. the phone's software takes decisions to make your pictures look good on a small phone screen, but seen at 100%, the defects get visible.
