For the past several days, my images have been getting rejected only because of 'similar images already submitted.' Should I stop uploading for now or continue?

It's a common problem. This is what Stock has to say about similar content.

Try to find unique content that isn't over-represented by other inventory. Start with diseases.

Describe your work with less common keywords & titles.

Good luck.

I noticed the same thing, I rarely ever had rejections before

That's entirely up to you. Some contributors have stopped submitting, while others have slowed down. Things can change at any moment, but I'm presently averaging about two to three acceptances to every two rejections for similar content.

It's up to you. Creating, editing, titling, keywording and submitting images is time consuming and that time is completely wasted if a large percentage of submissions are rejected. I have reduced my submissions considerably for the last 6 months for just that reason.
