Images being rejected because of similarity

hello everyone,

2 pictures of me got rejected because they are too similiar. Maybe it´s my ego but...why? i can see the hand posing is kinda similiar but else? they say i should pick more different pictures from a series. but why reject both?

Would be glad to hear some opinions thank you so much!

Yes, they are similar in theme. But the top photo has too much other stuff that is not theme related. Personally, I think I would have rejected it for composition reasons.

I see more sales potential for your head shot which is great by the way.  It's a real shame the t-shirt is out of focus.  That, more than anything, may be why it was rejected.

i am confused because both images were rejected because of the same reason..."too similar to each other"

i mean..logicalwise..you reject 1 and keep the other. shall i send the headshot again or is it spam? nobody knows...
