Images being reviewed out of order.

Since last Tuesday, Adobe is reviewing new photos within a day while submissions from 7 days up to 27 days ago just sit there. Is that happening to others as well? These are ALL commercial clearance photographs. I know editorial and AI are being reviewed at a different rate.

Yes, it has been happening to me and others have reported the same for the past couple of months. Hard to say why. Maybe Adobe is experimenting with how the queues work in an effort to speed up the review process. But your images are being acceepted, so I say just go with it. 🙂

I would expect Adobe to try to optimize moderation. Maybe that is part of a trial on this.

There have been reports here of images being reviewed out of order. Adobe doesn't reveal their internal business practices, so anything we might say is speculative. My photographs continue to be reviewed in submission date order.

Correct. It's all guesswork. In fact, something interesting happened with a half dozen of my assets a few weeks ago. They sat under the 'New' tab for a number weeks while I decided if I wanted to submit them officially or not. They weren't necessarily bad...they just didn't have the 'oomph' I look for compared to other more recent submissions. When I finally decided to submit one, the 'Submit' button remained greyed out. Same for the other five, and I hadn't even come close to reaching my submission limit. After deleting and uploading them again, the 'Submit' button once again became active, which suggests there's a time limit for how long images can sit in the 'New' section. Or it was a bug. Again, all just guesswork.

I suppose you need a certain “mass” of assets to get out of order moderation. I lately only submitted sparingly. So no, out of order possible.

Thanks, glad to hear it isn't just me. While I'm thrilled to have newer ones being accepted, some of the ones stuck in the queue are related to autumn. It is going to be over before they get reviewed. 🤦🏻‍♀️😉

Very true, but autumn does have a way of coming round a year. 🙂 Patience is defininately a virtue here. At least a year's worth. That said, I've had Easter assets sold weeks after Easter. You just never know.
