Images in new and in review sections at the same time

A few days ago I added about 12 images, after checking and adding key words I submitted the photos. Now they are in both the new and the in review sections. I don't know if I can delete the ones in the new section or if they really uploaded to the review section. Reviewers have approved photos posted after the ones that seem to be stuck. So how can I know if the reviewers can see these photos
