Inquiry About Image Removal After More Than a Year

Dear Adobe Stock Team,

I hope you're doing well.

I'm reaching out regarding the recent removal of several images from my portfolio. These images were uploaded over a year ago, approved by the review team at the time, and some of them were even licensed by customers.

Recently, I received a notification stating that the images were removed due to policy violations, possibly related to AI usage or similarity to other content.
I would like to clarify that I do not use any AI tools to generate my artwork. My content is fully created using Cinema 4D and the Octane Render engine, with a strong focus on originality and quality.

I kindly ask for clarification on the specific reason behind the removal of these assets. Is there any reason for concern regarding my ability to continue uploading, or could this affect my contributor status on the platform?

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Best regards,
Maamoun Albibi

This is not Adobe stock support. You will get answers from fellow contributors here. I suggest contzacting stock support, if you think that the assets were removed by error: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/Need-Help-Contact-Us.html

Adobe purges content they no longer wish to represent. That's their prerogative.

  • Sometimes it's due to changes in policy.
  • Other times it's due to customer complaints or take down requests from 3rd parties.

Regardless of the reasons, Stock's #1 interest is in providing customers with good quality content.

When an asset is removed, they very rarely change their minds about it.

There is a notice on the Adobe Stock Discord.

An email was sent out about this matter on 2/27.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the content discovery experience for both Customers and Contributors, we have identified and are removing duplicate files on Adobe Stock. All assets have been carefully evaluated to ensure minimal impact on your portfolio. If your assets were affected, then you should have received an email regarding this update on February 27, 2025. We believe these efforts will create a more efficient and rewarding environment. By removing duplicates, we can better provide a more varied and compelling collection. We will continue conducting audits to ensure the content discovery experience meets the needs of our Customers while providing fair opportunities for our Contributors. All removed assets can be found in your Contributor portal under Uploaded Files - Not Accepted with the refusal reason - Audit Removal: Incompatible with terms. Please note the removal of assets will not affect your Contributor account status. Thank you for being a valued part of our community!
