Inquiry Regarding Adobe Stock Review Standards and Process

Dear Adobe Stock Team and Forum Moderators,

I would like to inquire about the current review process of Adobe Stock. Are the submitted images still being reviewed by humans, or has AI been introduced into the process?

Recently, I submitted a set of images, all of which were rejected with a very general explanation:

"Common issues that can impact the technical quality of images include exposure issues, soft focus, excessive filtering or artifacts/noise. Learn more about our technical requirements."

Previously, I had submitted similar images — same angles or concepts, with only the elements within the scene being changed — and they were all approved without any issues. This leads me to question:

What standards are currently used to evaluate submitted images?

Has there been a recent change in the review criteria?

The rejection reasons are too broad and make it difficult for contributors to identify the specific issues in their images.

Is there a way to receive more precise feedback on why an image was rejected?

Note: The same images that were rejected by Adobe Stock have been accepted without issue on other stock platforms. I would appreciate any clarification you could provide so I can better align my work with Adobe Stock’s quality expectations.

Sincerely,

Your guess is as good as ours what the current review process is.

Stock doesn't share their private internal procedures with us. As Contributors, we have no influence over what they do.

Customers likely have more "say" based on what they buy.

The time to review has gone from weeks down to hours and my rejection rate has gone from <5% to >95%. I would be SHOCKED if a human was reviewing these still.

You are not addressing Adobe directly here in this forum and will receive no reply from any Adobe rep here. Adobe's review procedures have been quite erratic lately, with many Contributors reporting an unusually high, and often unjustified, level of rejections for quality issues and similars. I didn't see any obvious quality issues in these images. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to dispute the findings of the Moderators..

I'm relieved it's not just me. My rejection rate went from about 20% to 98% for no obvious reason.
