Adobe rejected the AI-image due to copyright infringement (Intellectual Property Refusal). Can someone please help clarify how this image infringes copyright?

Goat figures prominently on several brands ranging from casual, sports & luxury apparel to skincare products.

G.O.A.T Brand, Goat Fashion, CeraVe (goat mascot “Sarah V”).

Maybe this was meant to be tagged as similar content, as similar images are widely available on Adobe and other platforms.

indeed, if Adobe rejected because of similarity, I would understand but for some reason Adobe wrote about copyright infringement as the reason for rejection.

They somethings (sometimes often, in fact), select the wrong reason for rejection.

I’m choosing to reply not only bc you need the answer, but mainly because it’s a prime example of how AI can be useful if we know how to use it.

At least for now, AI does not create anything on it’s own, it access stored data on commands, (the commands we can input are infinite) then generates new pixel/token arrangements based on patterns LEARNED DURING TRAINING. I took a screen shot of your design and ask google ai to find it for me.

In a couple of seconds it gave me a few for sale that are way too similar to yours.

We could debate they are not exactly the same, pointless in my opinion.

Read some on copyright law protection, ai is also a great use for quick access.

2024 the other day I saw a graphic designer “Top Seller” with over 1 million downloads, all the work I saw were specifically inspired with anniversaries, holidays moments that have huge demand, so go do some research, learn new skills if necessary and get inspired.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the valuable advice. I tried to check other already accepted images of mine, generated using AI, for similarity. Some are similar, some are not. But in any case, Google AI writes for everyone that these images are available on many stock sites as a vector file for commercial use.

Similar content rejections apply to the entire database of millions of images, not just one’s own personal portfolio.
