Is it still possible to recover my Adobe Contributor account, which was disabled in September 2025?

My Adobe contributor account was deactivated in September 2025. This was due to uploading a photo that resembled a photo I had previously uploaded (in my opinion). Is there any chance my account will be reactivated? I filed an appeal one day after the account was deactivated, and there has been no response yet. I've checked the forums, and it might take at least six months. For your information, the stock photos I uploaded are my own photography, not AI-generated.

Accounts typically are not deactivated simply because one uploads an image similar to another unless it is done continuously to the point of spamming. In any event, we are contributors like yourself and Adobe does not participate in this forum. As such, we cannot be of assistance here.

I uploaded a lot of photos from my contributor account on another platform

Adobe Stock doesn’t care if you cross post content onto other platforms. They do NOT claim exclusive rights to content submitted by contributors. So that’s not why your account was terminated.

It’s more likely that you violated the TERMS of your agreement, or Stock received multiple complaints about your content.

Yes, what I did might be considered spam. I uploaded a lot of photos from my contributor account on another platform. Each platform has different rules. I thought it might just be rejected, but it turns out the account was deactivated. But that's okay.

    Thank you.

No one here can say. But, honestly, uploading one duplicate will not get your account deactivated. Continuous “spamming” will. Have you made contact with contributor support? Did you file an appeal?

    Yes, I did.
At that time, I did upload quite a lot, but I think I only managed to submit three photos at most per submission period.
Back then, I usually only submitted three to five photos per day. After my sales increased, I quickly increased my submission rate to 20 or more photos per submission.
I admit it was my fault for not curating my photos properly, as I wanted to increase my portfolio size. I've appealed the decision not to do it again, but I never expected it to take this long.
