Is My Adobe Stock Animation Income Reasonable? Would Higher Quality Increase It?

Currently, I have around 3,000 animation videos on my Adobe Stock profile.

In the past 12 weeks, I have earned $715, averaging about $60 per week from these animations.

Now, I’m curious and would love your honest thoughts:

  • Is this income reasonable for having 3,000 animation assets?
  • Or, do you think if my animation quality were higher, the income could be significantly better?
  • For those with larger animation portfolios, how much do you typically earn per week or month?

Your insights will help me understand where I stand and what I should focus on improving to grow further.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience!

Your earnings are very good IMHO. I have no idea about the quality of your animations, so I won't guess on higher or lesser quality. It would help, if you post the link to your public profile.

However, more assets would increase probably your earnings, or at least stabalize, if the competiotion catches up. Having sales and a lot of high quality assets with good metadata will help to increase the sales. If you have in addition seasonal assets available at the right time (half a year before the event) your sales may increase too.

As for the rest: Stock is not something were you will have a steady income, income may fluctuate a lot, get higher and lower without any apparent reason. Don't be obsessed with the fluctuations. Check which ones of your assets sell good. If you can submit more of those, you may increase your income. You may also increase your income by diversification.

And in addition: I find these "how much you can earn" questions boring, as the answers look more like fortune tellers than like scientifically based evidence. Nobody here has the Adobe insight.

As a tipp: look what top contributors have in their portfolio.

We have no way of knowing what others are earning so we can only give you general answers to your questions.

To your first question, I think your earnings are very high.

To your second question, that seems reasonable.

To your third question, there is no single answer because the number of assets alone does not directly affect the number of sales.
