Issue with "Similar Content" Rejections on Original Custom Designs

Dear Adobe Stock Contributor Support,

I am an active contributor on Adobe Stock, and I have recently been facing repeated rejections of my submitted artworks due to the reason: "Similar content already exists in our collection."

I would like to clarify that the designs I am uploading are my original creations, custom-made by me. I make sure to avoid using templates or copying other works. However, despite making unique designs, the system still flags them as too similar to existing content.

Could you please review this issue or guide me on how to avoid such rejections in the future? It would be very helpful if I could understand which elements of my work are considered similar.

Thank you very much for your time and support.

Best regards,
Arif Hossain

Original doesn't mean it hasn't been done before.

Show us your full-sized rejected asset.

See below about 'similar content.'

Yes this has become a very common occurance for many contributors for the past several months and it's only continuing to get much worse and much more common. It's unfortunate for those of us who put a lot of time into our work and being 100% original, but not really much we can do about it other than learn from it and move forward with trying to be more creative and thoughtful about what content we submit. I've had tons of rejections for this same reason even though my contect is completely unique and original. I've searched Adobe Stock thoroughly and can't find anything even remotely close to my submissions that are being rejected for "similar content". In some cases sure it's warranted, but overall I think the reviewers have become a little too click happy with this rejection reason, but again there's not much we can do. That's life.

It's not likely to be the moderators but an algorithm. The moderators can't possibly have the entire database in their heads to be making these decisions. I also think the correct label for these rejections should not be "similar content," but "similar keywords."

Yeah that's true, you make some good points.

One more thing: try to stay away from using Adobe's keyword suggestions or using them last in your list. It probably isn't a stretch to think that the same algorithm being used to determine similar content is in some way tied into the same algorithm that determines keyword suggestions. I see the same suggestions popping up quite regularly.

Tell me in a simple way and I will find the solution.

There IS no tangible solution. Experiment and see what happens. I've had well over 250 assets rejected for similar content, so I'm no expert on the subject. I can only offer the suggestions I've already mentioned.

You are not address Adobe support here but contributors like yourself, many who are experiencing the same issue regarding similar content. There is nothing to be done, and Adobe will not review your submissions or tell you how to avoid the issue going forward.

What should I do now?

Change the titles and keywords and try to submit again, slowly, one by one.

You are not talking to contributor support here. We are fellow contributors here. Adobe is quite persuaded that their refusals in this field are warrented (most contributors disagree) and we are all struggling with this refusal. It is suggested that you check the title and keywords for general content. Some pretend that by changing the title, the assets passed.
