I believe in the first photo, the overexposed highlights are a problem. In the second photo, I believe noise in the background and the halo around the bees antennas are the problems.

To add to what was said there are some color fringing on the edge in the highlights.

They are not focused very well. Bumblebee is slightly better, but not completely in focus. Also the highlights are blown out.
