Bonjour!

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

I, like you, am new to Stock photography. It initially seems to be a nightmare to get things accepted, but persevere.

I don't feel qualified to comment on the quality of the image for possible acceptance in a portfolio, but based on reading a lot of advice on this (and other sites) then initially you may have issues in the following areas ;

Model release for the person (Would the person recognize him/herself in my photo? If your answer is “Yes,” then you need to include a model release with your submission).

As the person is your niece, then potentially, this shouldn't be a problem for you to obtain.

There are at least three signs visible in this image and may well require property or intellectual property releases to cover them. Alternately you may wish to remove the wording on sign.

There are lots of supportive people who follow these forums and they may well give you more definitive advice.

Bon chance

Steve
