JPG or JPEG?

I uploaded some AI generated images in .jpg format. I confused it with .jpeg that was mentioned in the requirements. Should I re-upload them in .jpeg or .jpg is okay? Thank you!

No. You should move on, all is OK. If the file format is not good, you can't upload. 

 

There is no difference between .jpeg and .jpg. In the DOS world, extensions were limited to 3 characters. That's why we have mostly 3 character extensions. That requirement, however is long gone, so you now see endings with more than 3 characters. macOS allowed for more characters as the extension, as did also Unix. That's why we have .jpeg, .tiff, .html etc. The DOS and early Windows equivalent was .jpg, .tif, .htm.
