Keyword and Title House-keeping

Hi there, thanks all for your time and effort in answering.

I have some files that have never sold. There's nothing wrong with these files but I uploaded them when I was a lot less experienced and my titles were 'wordy' and I tried to fill as many of the keyword slots as possible (almost all most of the time)

Now I've started culling the portfolio,. What I now look at and see as trash that no longer stands up I simply delete it.
For the images that I will keep that as yet have no sales, is it worth while to give fresh titles and redo the keywords to ensure only 'truly' descriptive and useful words are included or are those images already doomed due to some mystical algorithym?

I have assets lying around for years and from time one of those starts a sprints and sells multiple times.

You should delete those assets that expose artefacts and errors. A buyer won't be happy, if they need to complain about that asset. In the early days, moderators did let pass many bad assets and they still do today.

As for the other assets, change whatever you need to change to make the asset more attractive to the search engine.

It certainly wouldn't hurt, if you feel your titles and keywords could be improved upon. How many assets are you talking about?

only 300 - 400 (they were from my early days) wont take long to redo them. Time to put the kettle on I guess 🙂

You might start seeing sales until you get around 1000-2000 assets. Personally, I'd go back and forth between revising old titles and keywords to submitting more assets as well.
