Keywording Question - to add "ing" or not

Is it useful to add the "ing" form of verbs of movement, action, or position to your KW list when you have already added the basic verb to your KW list? For a simple example ...

sit, sitting, rest, resting, perch, perching ...

I feel like this gets redundant, but my concern is if one only uses "sit" for an image's KW, the image will not show up in searches using "sitting" for a KW.

I don't think it's necessary but probably wouldn't hurt either. I searched for "perch" and "perching" and got identical  results. Also nearly identical results for "sit" and "sitting".

Use sitting in the title, sit in the keyword list.

That is a question you can answer yourself. Search Adobe for "sleep bear". That brings 307k results. whereas, "sleeping bear" brings 306k results. Not much of an difference but, still a difference.

The difference may also come from the title.

Thanks all for responding. I found myself going around and around in circles today, trying to figure out which form is best and/or if both are necessary.

I suspect one would be sufficient, and I'd personally lean toward the "ing." And if you took your concern further, you could go crazy wondering if any of these are better: sit, sits, sitting, rest, rests, resting, perch, perches, perching.
