Let's find the "QUALITY ISSUES" challenge

Hey everyone,

I thought it would be fun and hopefully useful to start a little challenge here.

I recently had a video rejected for “Quality Reasons,” but when I reviewed the file, I couldn’t spot the issues mentioned in the rejection notice.

The reviewer’s possible reasons were:

Unintentional shaking (The camera is completely steady and doesn’t move)

Empty black or white frames (none that I can find)

Compression or audio problems (there’s no audio at all)

So here’s the challenge: can anyone actually spot a quality issue in this video?
If yes, please explain what you see.

Hello, I have an update.

Yesterday I uploaded a very similar concept, no levitation, no rose petals, and with slightly improved finger detail and it has been accepted. So, we can assume that the previously mentioned elements were the reasons for the earlier rejection.

Thanks everyone!

I think it could be argued. that there are some issues with the fingers.

First glances are deceiving. Video has a lot of moving parts. And AI is seldom perfect at all of them.

Apart from the irregular levitation already mentioned,

1. Daisies in the foreground start out in focus, and end up blurry.  Why?

2. Background leaves/petals appear out of nowhere. Where are they coming from?

Evri as you can see, there's plenty of people willing to opine here.  My advice to you is to staying focused in creating great work. Don't be discouraged by rejections,

The fact is that I've had many photos rejected, only to end up being accepted after a few attempts.
idk why this happens, if it has to do with a preselection system, ranking or just plain algorithm activity. The fact is that when I started submitting 8 months ago, I was expiriencing a lot more rejections, and today perhaps my work is ranking higher and not getting such scrutiny, and photos that were rejected 3 months ago are now getting accepted.

Above all, have fun and ignore the noise

Thanks! The truth is, I’ve had a lot of rejected photos so I’m used to it.

The problem with videos is that they cost money to produce, and I still believe the rejection of this particular video was unfair. It’s unique within their catalog, and I honestly don’t think the “hip movement” of the model is a valid reason for rejection.

I still believe it could be useful to someone and that it has value.

I'm trying to contact the reviewing team to get a clear answer.

Look everyone is entiteld to their own opinions. I absolutely disagree with the idea there's an "shaking or abrupt" movement.  Don't look at it as an unfair rejection, and don't wast time on it. I beleive this is just the nature of a gigantic oporation that needs to filter a lot of junk or substandard submissions. Put this video in a resubmit later folder, and save your time writing to someone who will never reply, not at least until you are a great partner for Adobe.

I love what you did, I have my mix feelings about AI, but this is an animation that will never be done in a conventional way unless you have a blockbuster budget to do so. Keep up this level of quality, and us your vision to also shoot the real thing, I bet you will creat great work, and put a lot less time into it.

Cheers!

The girl has a sudden and abrupt movement of her back and hip at sec. 5, the animation is not fluid ... from experience I have already seen this type of rejections ... I have more than 3000 videos, no AI ... but I know what a fluid motion is ... just my 2 cents  ...

I’m starting to believe their reasons are completely random and depend on whether the reviewer is having a bad day or not.

I’ve seen much worse AI videos accepted here, and I’m familiar with the overall quality standard that gets approved.

I mean Take this video for example, how is this getting accepted? It’s shaking, out of focus, pixelated, the main object is out of frame, and it looks like a moussaka or crème brûlée in a glass when it's supposed to be dalgona coffee?

You're correct, it shouldn't have been accepted. That happens at times. Probably more often than it should.  It should have been submitted as a still image in any case.

Brother I am an ignorant when it comes to creating ai photos or videos.  Your video is awesome and could not tell you why it was rejected. But I'll trade you know how on traditional shooting for yours any day of your choosing.
