Logo Rejected for "Too Similar", but I Can't Find a Matching Design

Hi There,

My logo was rejected for being "too similar" to existing Adobe Stock content. However, I searched using multiple keywords before submitting and couldn't find any logo that closely matches this design.

This logo was created entirely from scratch and is not copied or traced from any existing artwork. It has also been accepted on Shutterstock & others which made me even more curious about what Adobe considers too similar.

Could anyone point me to the similar logo if you've seen one? I'd really appreciate any feedback on what makes this design appear too similar and how I can improve it for resubmission.

Best Regards

It really does not matter if other agencies accepted your asset. For the last year and a half we have stated that we do not know why a moderator checks this rejection reason. It may be:

    • he checked the wrong refusal reason
    • content may be similar in the database
    • content may be similar in your portfolio
    • content may be similar to your current uploads
    • meta data in the database my be similar
    • meta data in your portfolio may be similar
    • meta data in your current uploads may be similar

We have no way of knowing.

Could you please guide me on what types of content I should focus on...

    ========

Read the photography guidelines for tips on popular subjects. The same subjects & themes apply to vectors.

Likewise, read the vector guidelines, all 7 parts.

Best advice: avoid over-saturated categories like Icons & Icon Sets. Stock already has 160 million of them.

Finally, your challenge is to find holes in the Stock collection that need representation, and fill them with your unique content.

    Good luck.

Stay away from logos. Customers who need logos pay private graphic designers who specialize in branding. Logos are  unique to one brand, not shared by hundreds or thousands of other brands.

Thank you for your advice. I understand your point about avoiding logos.

Could you please guide me on what types of content I should focus on instead if I want to grow as an Adobe Stock contributor?

I would really appreciate specific direction on which subjects, categories, or types of vector content have better demand and are more suitable for the platform. I want to follow the right path and create work that is both acceptable and commercially useful.

Your guidance would help me understand what I should work on next.

Thank you for your explanation. I understand that it may not always be possible to identify the exact reason selected by a moderator.

However, my concern is that several of my original works are being rejected in the same way, without any specific explanation about what part of the design or metadata is causing the issue. I create each vector from scratch, and I do not repeatedly upload the same content, use unrelated keywords, or copy identical metadata across submissions.

Without a clear reason, it is very difficult for me to understand what I should improve or avoid in my future work. I genuinely want to follow the platform’s standards and submit content that meets all requirements.

Could you please advise me which specific rules or guidelines I should follow in this situation? It would also be helpful to know whether I should change the design structure, concept, presentation, metadata, or any other part of the submission.

I am not disputing the moderation decision. I am simply requesting clearer guidance so that I can work in the correct direction and avoid receiving the same rejection on future original submissions.

Thank you for your time and assistance.
