Long Moderation Times

Going on 3 months and photos have still not reviewed.  The site says 8 weeks, but what is the truth?  How long do we really have to wait?

That's odd. My assets usually are reviewed withing less than 24hrs, and I post a lot of AI assets.

That's really unusual. In what category are you submitting (Illustration, photo, vector, video)?

When Submitting AI it is Illustration of course. Although my AI work is highly curated. I spend a big amount of time edditing them in both photoshop and Lightroom. I don't allow my AI submissions to be less than excellent with flaws or technical inacuracies. So I have a very low AI rejection percentage. I don't know if personal reputation gives an advantage in review process or not though

It's possible that your assets have only been unreviewed for only two months, unless you actually recall the exact date that the files were uploaded. That is, after one month (plus a couple of days), two months is the displayed time. You won't see, for example, "Uploaded 2 months and 3 days ago." It rounds up. Drastically. So it's possible you're still within the 8 week range more or less. Once your first set of images are reviewed, the process becomes more consistent. And for the record, the site used to say 5 days, then they changed it to 4 weeks, and now it's 8 weeks. They're doing some catch up.

No, I remember the date when they were posted and it has been 3 months.  I've been a contributor for years, so this isn't my first set of images.  The problem is AI is getting a priority instead of actual photography.

That's a possibility, but I don't think it's because AI assets are being given priority. There is just more of it being submitted compared to actual photographs. This was the reason upload limits were put into place, to help stem the flow of thousands of unedited AI images being uploaded per day by a number of contributors new to stock and who fell prey to YouTubers promising the big bucks one can make selling AI on stock sites. We don't see nearly the number of AI users asking why their images were rejected compared to a few months back when things got way out of hand.
