Question

Lots of recent "Quality issue" after 5 years of uploads

Good morning, I have been uploading pictures to ADOBE for now more than 5 years, and it seems that recently most of y pictures are not accepted due to quality issue.

You can find a sample over there.

Is it because they are too edited ? What do you think ? Your help would be appreciated to understand why it's been so hard to get pictures accepted recently…

I did not change the lense nor the camera, thus I don’t think the sharpness changed since my previous uploads. Thank you for your advice/support 🙏🏻

Thank you for your help, to me it still seems that Adobe got stricter with quality (not a problem, just good to know on how to improve) since more landscapes pictures (not involving IP) are rejected. I guess I need to pay more attention

I urge you to re-read the Contributor User Guide.

Submission standards don’t remain the same. The User Guide was last revised in June. Some things have changed.

The first two actually have IP issues - signs on the buildings, so perhaps the moderator chose the wrong reason code.

The blues seem oversaturated in the top three, as do many of the colors in general in the others. And yes, others have stated they are seeing more rejected assets for quality issues and for similar content.

Im sorry but, I see several quality issues. The first photo has leaning vertical and horizontal lines. It is poorly cropped and the shadows under the statues coat are underexposed.
The second photo has leaning vertical lines, the person (model release required)  is not sharp any you need several property releases. Or, do you think you can earn money with CocaCola?

Thank you for your answer, I did not know the leaning lines could be a problem (I uploaded several pictures wihtout this being a problem). For the picture that needs the property release, I was just surprised that the reason it was rejected was quality issue (and not IP, which I agree would make more sense)

Moderators can only select one reason for rejection and only have seconds to pick one, even if there are numerous reasons.

The technical quality is ok in my view, but there is no clear focus point in the images, they are a bit ‘visually confusing’. The first one is cropped too tight the landscape images are a bit dull and in the last one the tents are way too far away. I don’t know if it is the explanation though. I can’t see if they are in focus.

The four images above involve intellectual property issues.
If they contain elements such as logos, text, or engravings, they will be rejected due to copyright or trademark issues.

Only this part is blurry.

Other factors would be the composition and the size of the subject.
You should put a bit more thought into the shot before taking it.
