Question

My Adobe Stock appeal has been pending for over 2 months

Hello everyone,

I hope someone from the Adobe Stock team might be able to help or provide some guidance.

I have been an Adobe Stock contributor for almost 10 years. During all these years, I have uploaded only videos that I personally filmed. I have never uploaded AI-generated content to Adobe Stock or to any other stock website.

If my account was flagged because of similar content, I would also like to clarify that I do not upload duplicate clips. Sometimes I split footage from the same shoot into different uploads over several months, but every clip is different and unique.

I submitted my appeal over two months ago (Case #00520603), but I have not received any update yet. I completely understand that the review process can take time, and I truly respect the work of the review team. I am only hoping to know whether my appeal is still being reviewed.

If I unknowingly violated any guideline, I sincerely apologize. Please let me know what I did wrong, and I will make sure it never happens again.

Adobe Stock has been an important part of my professional life for nearly 10 years, and I would be very grateful for any update or advice.

Thank you very much for your time.

You’re making wild guesses about what triggered the deactivation.

    • Similar content alone isn’t a reason for deactivation, unless you’re spamming them with duplicates.
    • GenAI isn’t a reason to deactivate unless the content violated other conditions.

I think it’s more likely that you unknowingly submitted content that violated IP. See below for more details.

The appeals process takes time. You just have to wait it out & see what happens.

Did the account suspension email mention "Suspicious Activity" or "Terms Violation"? That can provide a clue about what they're investigating. For example, suspected fraudulent sales may be handled as "Suspicious Activity," whereas spamming is typically considered a "Terms Violation."

    Hello,

Your account has been blocked for submitting content that violates Adobe Stock submission guidelines, or for activities that violate the Adobe Stock Contributor Terms, on the basis of internal review of your content and account. These content or account activities were found to be incompatible with the Stock Contributor Terms, because they are prohibited under Stock account and submission guidelines, such as submitting offensive content, excessive submissions, content to which you may not own the rights, spam, or other prohibited content or account activity.

For more information on why your account has been blocked, and your appeals options, see the Submission Guidelines.

    Regards,

    Adobe Contributor Relations

The information might be in the email subject, but the body of the email looks very similar to the one I received when my account was suspended for a "Terms Violation." In my case, it was because I had been spamming.

I'd suggest reviewing Adobe's guidelines to see if there's anything you might have violated, even unintentionally. If it takes a long time to get a response to your appeal, I don't think there's any harm in submitting it a second time.

And if you do remember anything that could have been a violation, keep in mind that the appeal is the right opportunity to explain your side or provide any relevant context.

You have a case number. Unfortunately, investigations can take months, depending on the number of investigations ahead of yours. Your only option is to continue waiting.

Adobe Stock personnel do not visit this forum, and will not reply here regarding account matters.

Thank you for your reply, Jill.

Could you please tell me if there is any other way to contact Adobe Stock support? I have been waiting for a response to my appeal for over two months and haven't received any updates yet.

    Thank you very much.
