Question

My content doesn’t appear when searched

I wanted to search my photos to see what it looked like from the buyer's perspective, but I can't find my content when I search for it. I tried using the exact

same title and keywords, filtering my search, and yet my content doesn't show up. It should be searchable because the piece was approved and is now in my public profile. This particular piece was approved a month ago.
Is this normal? Is it because I'm a new contributor?

There is a slight delay in indexing new content to make it searchable when it is newly added to the database, however it's probably hours, not weeks. If your content is in a very competitive category, it's quite possible that it appears many pages down in the search results. Could you provide the asset number that you're searching for or a link to that asset?

Yes, I'll attach the link below. File # is 939326697.

I actually looked through all the pieces of content that fell under the same filters as my piece (I was very specific), and I still couldn't find my work any where. The only way I can see the piece through the buyer's perspective is if I specifically look up the piece's file number, which isn't really ideal for a seller.

When I search in the Buyer Portal for videos with your exact title "Ducks By the Pond" there are >57,000 hits; only the first 10,000 of those are shown. I don't know what keywords you used, but you definitely need a far more descriptive title, something that accurately and thoroughly describes what is happening in the video. Something like "mallard ducks walking along the edge and floating in a manmade pond in Balboa Park, San Diego, California in summertime". Tell a story about the image. Update your title and keywords, then go back a few hours later (allowing time for the indexing of your metadata to occur), and search for it again.
