Hello, I'm a beginner in photography. I would appreciate it if you could look at my rejected photo and give me some tips and advice when taking it. f/2.8, ISO 160, 1/50s

In addition to the issues noted by @Abambo @Test Screen Name and @RALPH_L  the shutter speed you chose, 1/50th, is just too slow for a handheld image, resulting in camera motion and blur throughout. You've also missed the Christmas season entirely, because art directors are looking for images months in advance of a holiday for their commercial projects.

Hi @병영27763310nbrq ,

The photo is out of focus, underexposed and noisy.

I suggest you participate in photography courses that will teach you the correct settings to achieve focus, and exposure. There are a couple of links to LinkedIn Lean on this page that covers Exposure and Focus.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

What was the rejection reason? You should always give us te rejection reason, Adobe gave you.

  • You have a white balance problem, the picture is too warm: check out places that should be white, they are yellowish, like the snowman.
  • You have a noise issue: look at your picture at 100% and you will detect quite a high level of noise, especially in the darker areas.
  • The picture is too dark. You should lighten the shadows.
  • Your DOF is minimal, due to the low f value. But you weren't perpendicular with the camera against the shop window. So, a good bunch of the items are out of focus.
  • The framing is not good, as you should be perpendicular. The picture either asks for a full perpendicular POV or a more sidewards approach.
  • The items in the shop window may be copyrighted. Even that there are many different items and I did not see logos, I'm uncertain if these would pass as this from an IP standpoint.

As a side note, you are late to the party. If you want to generate sales, you should post images like this two to 6 months before the event, not exactly after the event.

It's also an impossible photo to sell as you would need a property release for each product in the shot. You cannot make money selling photos of other people's products.

Due too the large aperture opening, the depth of filed is too shallow. Much of the objects are out of focus. There is some noise in the shadows. The photo, in my opinion, has a red touch.
