My images got rejected for image quality issues. Can you explain what qualities were rejected?

These are nice, and I assume these are the original sizes as submitted for review. If so, I've always found that an image should still retain a reasonable if borderline degree of sharpness when viewed at 200%. These appear very soft and cross that line to a greater degree than what the moderator might have found acceptable. What upscaler did you use?
