My images were not accepted and I don't understand why

Hi 🙂 My images were rejected under the reason of 'QUALITY ISSUES'. Do you think it's quality is low? Help, I need your opinions. Thanks🙏

Focus, exposure, lighting, and background choice could be better; it doesn't match the dog!

The lighting is uneven.

Just so you know, Easter is over.  Easter images should be submitted the previous Summer or Fall to meet editorial deadlines.

 

Seasonal magazines like Martha Stewart Living go to printing presses 3 months ahead.  Same goes for Christmas and other major holidays.

 

Start preparing your Christmas images now while you still have time. 😉

My idea was to try to match the background with the bunny ears and the bow, not the dog! Thank you very much for your opinion, I will take it into account

I did not yet check on my PC, but your dog is underexposed. Black items need slightly more light.

The hand is disturbing in the first picture.

 

The background, while probably not the refusal reason, is not really great for this kind of photography. But that is my personal opinion.
