My photo was rejected from Adobe Stock due to quality issues. I need feedback on the photo.

Hello,
This is my first time uploading stock images. I plan to consistently upload more stock images going forward.
However, all the stock images I uploaded this time were rejected due to quality issues.
I need to improve the quality of my photos for future uploads, so I would really appreciate any advice on my photos.
Also, I'm curious if anyone shoots stock images using only a phone. (I'm asking because I only use my phone for shooting.)

Correct answer Jill_C

The first image is noisy, not in sharp focus, underexposed and has a strange color cast.

Hi @calm_Moonbeam1749 ,

The cat photo is also noisy and the third photo has poor composition. I cannot identify a subject.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Read the Contributor User Guide. Adobe Stock customers expect the highest visual and technical quality for use in commercial projects. Emphasis on commercial use.

Keep in mind that you're competing with high quality cameras & lenses.  Phones will never give you the same picture quality as a dedicated 20-40 megapixel camera.

If you're serious about Stock photography, start saving now for better equipment.  Also, enroll in some photography courses to learn all you need to know about your camera, lighting, composition, and post editing in Photoshop or Lightroom.

Before you submit, compare your best work with available Stock inventory.  It should be something Stock needs and better than what Stock is selling now.

Hope that helps.

Good luck!

The contrast and exposure need improvement on this one. Cell phone photos do get excepted, but their smaller sensors require a good deal of post editing. If your phone allows for it, shoot in RAW.

Thank you for your feedback!
The difference in contrast and exposure values significantly impacts the quality of the photo. I'll keep this in mind for future photos.
