Question

My png images often rejected recently? Any new rules of PNG images?

I haven’t uploaded photos for a while, and when I recently started uploading again, I noticed that the approval rate for my cutout PNG images has becomes much lower, even though they used to be approved very easily. Have there been any new rules changes? Also, is it better for PNGs to have a slight shadow now, or no shadow at all?

Show us a couple of rejected PNGs. Full sized if possible.

To save space, I deleted all the rejected images from my PC. However, I’ll probably still have rejected images in the future, so I’ll upload them then and hope you can help me take a look. I also just read through the guidelines and will make some adjustments accordingly. Thank you so much!

I would say without shadows. Buyers can add them more easily than remove them.

I used to add very subtle shadows to make the objects look slightly more 3 dimensional, and the acceptance rate was still quite high. But recently, almost all of my PNGs have been rejected, and I’m not sure if the shadows are the issue. Anyway, I’ll try removing the shadows, and see how it goes. Thank you!

A very high number of contributors appear to be having a higher number of rejections. Then there will be an occasional post on other forums of someone having a slew of assets accepted at once. In any event, the standards for acceptance do appear to be more strict than they were in the past.
