Need feedback: my works were rejected for being “too similar”

Hello everyone, I need some help with my works that were rejected due to “similar content” on Adobe Stock. I’m attaching them here.

I created each image separately and very carefully — generated, photobashed, and refined them to meet high-quality standards. I approached every element with precision. These are entirely my own works in the form of collages on the Thanksgiving theme. Yes, AI was used, but it’s more of a creative, handcrafted process rather than a simple AI output.

I don’t understand what exactly the issue is and would really appreciate any advice or clarification.

The man's head on a child's body type looks weird and out of place.

This is not good AI. Which service did you use?

I created this image using ChatGPT with additional manual editing in Photoshop. It took some effort and adjustments to achieve the desired quality. I understand the result may not be perfect — creative work often comes with such nuances. Personally, I’m satisfied with how the body and overall composition look. ChatGPT can sometimes distort proportions, but that’s just part of the process, especially since this is part of a larger series.

Thinking that AI isn't perfect, so imperfections should be OK, is why a lot of sloppy AI was submitted and approved when Adobe first began accepting it. And that kind of thinking is why many AI assets in the database are still being criticized or resulting in refunds to this day.

collage_1818.jpg - the perspective is off in this one. The small floating woman and huge floating rocking chair aren't the right perspective in relation to the fireplace.

Similar content rejections is an issue affecting all contributors and has been for the last few months, with assets being compared to the entire database of millions of images. There is not much to be done short of re-submitting and experiment with different keywords. That said, I like the image of the man better than that of the woman, as she appears to be airborne, with no apparent shadow compared to this example.

Thank you very much for the advice — I really liked your example with the shadows. I truly appreciate the tip! I usually avoid using photorealistic shadows or similar effects on my graphic elements, so that was an intentional choice. I only try to replicate realistic lighting when two photorealistic objects are placed next to each other — that’s why I did it this way. I experiment a lot in my works, so your feedback will definitely help me improve in the future. Thanks again!
