Hi everyone, my image was rejected for 'Artifacts/Noise'. I want to know how I can improve the quality for my future uploads. Here is the image.

    Hi @Nice+Picture

To correct artefacts/noise, you use a photo editor such as Photoshop to reduce the noise and remove the artefacts. When applying post-processing, you’ll need to zoom in on the file at 100% or more to identify the issue and to see clearly when they are removed. The thing is, refusal prompts are usually based on the first issue the reviewer sees, and there could be other issues not highlighted. Therefore, to get additional help, upload the original quality image you submitted to Adobe. The image you shared here is too compressed, which introduced compression noise.

    Best wishes

Even at this small size, I can see that the overhead lighting was too harsh, depth-of-field is too narrow, and the image is too tightly cropped. Compare your original photo with other Stock inventory. Yours should be as good or better than what Stock is selling.

    Hope that helps.

How do you know that it was refused because of artifacts and noise? Adobe only says “Quality”. Please upload the original asset here for us to review. This thumbnail is too small.

If noise is the only cause, it can be processed in Lightroom.

If there are other factors involved, it's impossible to know without checking the actual image.

You need to put up a full-size image. I can’t tell from this size. What camera lens and lighting conditions did you use to take this photo? What is this a picture of? Please put a full-size image up.
