Newer submitted images reviewed, older not?

I understand and take in consideration the fact that it can take some time to get images reviewed but I have for example submitted a lot of images several weeks (2-3) ago and they are still not reviewed but lots of images submitted a shorter while ago i.e. - after - the ones submitted 2-3 weeks ago, have already been reviewed and approved.

Maybe there is a technical problem with part of my queue?
It seems that newer images are reviewed erlier than older ones, is that normal?

Hi @Contributor needs help ,

It happens in my case. From my observation, there are a few possibilities:

You submit different formats they fall in different queue and gets reviewed at the pase each queue moves.

Another possibility is that each reviewer selects a batch at a time to review.. At the end of the day or work-week a few are left until the reviewer gets back to work.

There are times this happen, you go through a period of refusals then 100% acceptance, or vise verse, which would indicate your files are being processed in the order they come.

Whatever the case eventually all the files get reviewed. I'd suggest not to get overly concerned about it.

Best wishes

It has always been the common understanding that assets are reviewed on a "first in / first out" basis; however, occasional exceptions are reported. Adobe doesn't reveal their reviewing policies, so there's no way of knowing why this happens. Just be glad that you got some reviewed sooner!

Hi Jill, thanks for your feedback.
Yeah, I also understood that is was "first in/first out" - since this doesn't seem to be the case I wondered if there perhaps was a technical issue or something I did wrong.
