A big store with many different items usually has more customers and makes more sales than a small store with fewer options.  It's the same for Stock Contributors.

It takes time to build a diverse portfolio of commercial-ready assets that customers will pay for.  Focus on producing highest quality artwork on a wide variety of subjects for different industries.  In time, you'll see which ones sell and which ones don't.  When you have 6,000 or more assets in your portfolio, you should start seeing a steady passive income from Stock.

Pay attention to what other contributors are doing in your keyword categories.  Watch what customers are currently buying.  Adjust your content accordingly.  Look for fresh new ways of expressing old ideas. And keep creating & submitting new content.

Hope that helps.

Yes, that can happen, if you are in the low volume sales. It's summer holidays. Less people are buying during the holiday season.

What is the reason for the slow download?

Competition is the major reason for a slowdown in sales. Adobe adds, on average, 4.5 Million new assets to the database every week. If your assets are in very competitive categories, and they don't rise to the first few pages of a Buyer's search results, they're never going to be found or purchased. Beyond that, your titles and keywords need to be as accurate and descriptive as possible, and you need to be constantly looking for underserved niches in the database.

Hello,

You need to upload to Stock what the market wants and what sells. The market is fickle.

Perhaps this link might help:

There are no downloads because Buyers either aren't seeing your assets or are choosing other similar ones from other Contributors. If your assets are in very competitive categories, your assets may be many pages down in the search results so Buyers never see them. Also, if your assets aren't properly titled or keyworded they may not show up when Buyers search. You need a large portfolio of varied and in-demand assets to reach a steady level of sales.

May we ask how many assets you have available for sale?

Hi @Graphic Art005,

I am unable to assess if there is possibly an issue except I see your lifetime graph. However, if you are a relatively new contributor with small number of assets this will happen from time to time. The key to maintain consistent sales is to increase your portfolio and maintain constant uploads. Having a wide range of assets also helps to maintain constant sales. In any case, you should check your metadata for keyword changes and to look into your public profile for duplication or any other evidence of a bug on your account. If you find any changes you did not make, use the "Contact us" at the bottom of your contributor page to notify Adobe of the change.

If all is well with your account then there is nothing more we can do to assist you from the forum. Hence, in this case I'd suggest you continue to submit a wide range of assets until the sales return. If the lack of sales continues for say another month despite submitting varying assets regularly, then I suggest you create a ticket using the "Contact us" on your contributor page to highlight your concern.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

According to the shown statistics, you have very few sales. I would guess that your assets are not in high demand. Try offering different subjects, maybe different asset types. Use internet resources to verify the demand for your subject matter.
