Can anyone help me figure out the quality issues with this photo so I can better cull my photos for submission?  Thanks in advance.

Hello,

In my view, the focus is not so good - too shallow. I think the whole flower should be in focus. Your F-stop of 2.8 is too wide, so you should increase the aperture a bit more to get a larger DOF (Depth of Field)

There is not enough focus in the image, your DOF is very narrow. There is also banding in the green. The picture is correctly exposed, but still, I think that it is too dark. Flower pictures are a very overloaded topic in stock, so moderators are asked to be very picky.

In addition to the comments from @daniellei4510  the depth of field is too shallow, causing the edges if the bloom to be in soft focus.

Flower images are a hard sell to begin with. There are millions of them on Adobe Stock. The composition could use a lot of improvement. Look up the rule of thirds for starters. Anyway, flower images need to be EXTREMELY unique before they get accepted.
