The stream in the forest. The light rays don't make any sense. The sun is higher up than the rays and the one on the far right is especially illogical.

If you want to avoid rejections entirely, there are sites like RedBubble. But they're a whole different animal compared to stock sites in general. It's more for swag and other novelty items such as bedspreads, stickers, pillow cases, t-shirts, sweaters, hats, shower curtains, etc. Short of the usual restrictions against sexually explicit material, drug use, and violence, virtually anything you submit will be accepted if it's your original work. That said, the competition is still tough since the advent of AI.

To clarify, these are NOT photographs. They are machine generated AI, yes?

Fantasy art is highly specialized.

  • To make sales, you must appeal to a wide range of customers in various sectors. Lifestyle, travel, science/med, tech, nature, business, food/drink, education...
  • A diverse portfolio of 6,000 or more assets should give you a steady second income.
  • In time, you'll see what sells and what doesn't and adjust your content accordingly.

Pay attention to details & accuracy.  Machine generated images are messy.  AI makes many mistakes. You have to be able to ID and fix mistakes before you submit them to Stock.

Adobe Stock customers pay for highest visual and technical quality for use in commercial projects. Read your Contributor Guide for more tips.
