Hey friends. Today I uploaded first of my pictures to stock. They have rejected 3 pictures. I am unable to understand why it happened. Can anyone please enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

3729: Underexposed: see the histogram: the whites and part of the highlights are missing (right part)

In addition, there is quite a lot of noise, and you have sensor dust

, that needs to be addressed.

You used a creative program on your camera. You should really change to Manual mode and shooting in raw. To the right there is something odd in the frame, you should photoshop that out.

3227: should get straightened. Your mosquito tent does not add value to the picture. You also have chromatic aberration on the tent and elsewhere:

This picture is also underexposed. In addition, it does not change much from the prior one. Adobe stock loves series, but there need to be variation.

2833: composition: the bird is looking away, and the whole composition is bad. On one side you have some greenery, on the other a mess of beach chairs. You have chromatic aberration:

The bird should be completely in focus. If not, the head (and especially the eyes) should be.

Stock customers want perfect images for use in their commercial projects.  Did you compare your rainbow with other Stock rainbow images before submitting?

Knowing what the competition is doing, would you buy this over what's already represented?

"Watch the birdy", or at least wait until the birdy is watching at you.  Looks like a tame specimen.  Take your time with such photos. A nice treat would help get him/her to look your way.

1) Sensor spot

2) needs to be removed

3) horizon not level

4) shadows too dark

I would also crop it for, what I consider, better composition. I assume that the rainbow is the main motive. So bring it on the Rule of Thirds and emphasize it.

Hi @nehavj ,

All your photos lack focus/sharpness.

You placed your focus at the wrong point for the second image. Most of your focus for this one is lost in space while the forefront remain blur.

There is blue color fringing at the neck of the bird.

Best wishes
