PayPal account name different than contributor account name

Hi, community, hope all of you are doing well. I just reached the payment threshold and I wanted to withdraw the money. I typed my PayPal email and everything is correct, but I have one question. Is it a problem if my PayPal account is named differently than my contributor account? Because on my contributor account I have my name and last name, but on PayPal I have my mother's name and last name? Is that a problem, should I change that, or adobe doesn't care? I opened PayPal few years ago when I was still under the age of 18 and didn't have any bank cards or ID, that's why her name is on the account. Sorry for the long question, and thanks in advance 😄

If you opened the account for your own use in the name of your parent when you were under 18, you did so in violation of PayPal's user agreement. Legally, it isn't your account. It belongs to the named person in the account, and you can't change the name. That's why you need a new account.

You will need to arrange that. You need your own account, not because of Adobe Stock, but because of money laundry. It is always fishy, when people use someones other account.

But I have been using that account for years now and withdrawing money without a problem? It's technically mine, I'm the only one using it, and how can PayPal know if I'm actually using an account under my mother's name? I'll get my account done now because I'll need it in the future, but I'm not sure what kind of problems I can have because I've been using it without any problem for probably over 2 years now.

Different names is not a problem, but if you're now of age, why not open your own PayPal account?

I definitely will, I just got my bank card 3 months ago, and I will get that done. I didn't have any money coming in from PayPal, so I didn't worry about that, but now I'll get it done. Thanks for your answer.
