Hello, I’m trying to verify my phone number on my Adobe account, but I constantly receive the error:
“An error occurred while performing this action. Please try again later.”
I am from Bangladesh.
Please whitelist my phone number or manually verify my account.
My phone number is: +880[Moderator deleted private information. Please do not post private information like e-mails and phone numbers]

Thank you!

There is a persistant problem for phone number verification for several regions, including Bangladesh. We do not know a solution to this, however.

(And for your information: never publish private information on this public forum. This is a user to user forum, and you are not talking to Adobe. You will need to try customer support for this.)

Adobe Stock is currently not accepting new contributors from Bangladesh, effectively blocking registration.

While Adobe has not issued a loud public press release stating "Bangladesh is banned," the system for creating new contributor accounts has been functionally disabled for users in your region throughout 2024 and 2025.

Here is the breakdown of the situation as of November 2025:

1. The "Hidden" Block (Phone Verification)

The primary barrier is the mandatory phone number verification step for new accounts.

  • The Issue: When you try to sign up, you must verify a mobile phone number. However, Bangladesh (+880) is missing from the country dropdown menu in this specific verification form.

  • The Result: Without selecting the correct country code, you cannot receive the One-Time Password (OTP) required to activate your account. This completely halts the registration process.

2. Is this a permanent ban?

It appears to be a deliberate restriction rather than a temporary glitch.

  • "Systemic" Issue: Users have been reporting this specific "missing country code" error for over a year. If it were a simple bug, it likely would have been patched by now.

  • Support Response: When users contact Adobe Support, they are often told this is due to "regional service limitations" or "updated account vetting policies."

  • Existing Accounts: Some existing contributors from Bangladesh report they can still upload and earn money, provided their accounts were verified before this restriction took place. However, new accounts (or existing ones that are suddenly asked to re-verify their phone numbers) are getting locked out.
