Seems to be a comen issue. Enter the phone number without parentheses and other special characters like dashes as if you would use the phone from the US. Use the "+" to precede your country code with no leading zeros like "+49" for Germany.

As for the rest, try to omit leading zeros for the area code, if present. I doubt that spaces are a failure reason, as my phone number includes spaces, but there is no harm to omit those, especially as you are having issues with the phone number.

If you are still having issues, it would help to see how you enter your phone number, but please do not publish your real number, replace numbers with characters like xxxx and yyyy and zzzz, so that your number sill stays private on this public forum.
