Question

Phone verification SMS code not arriving for Adobe Stock contributor sign-up (Pakistan +92)

I'm trying to join Adobe Stock as a contributor. The onboarding page requires a verified mobile number, but I can't complete it.

  • I enter my Pakistan number in international format (+92, no leading zero).
  • Either the SMS code never arrives, even after waiting 5 to 10 minutes, or I get the error "An error occurred while performing this action. Please try again later."
  • I do receive SMS codes from other services (for example Google) on the same number.
  • I've tried Chrome and incognito mode.

Has anyone in Pakistan solved this? Is there another way to verify the number, or a way to contact Adobe to have it verified manually? Thank you.

As of now, you can’t join.  Your region is being blocked by Pakistani telecom providers. Until the geo-restrictions are lifted at your end, you can’t complete the Adobe verification process to create a Contributor account. Sorry.

BEST ADVICE: Join other marketplaces closer to Pakistan. And check back here again in few months.

    Good luck.

Not present, apparently, until and unless the geo-location ban is lifted. I suppose you can try Google to see if there have been any successful work-arounds.

Adobe isn’t responsible for the geo-location block, so contacting them will not help with a solution. It is an issue with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority that restricts what users inside Pakistan can access.
