Just wondering why this photo wouldn't be accepted. It is my first time posting a stock photo so any feedback or tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

For some added information, the image did not meet quality standards.

That's stock text. The header is important. We know that the reason given is “Quality Issues”. We can read the rest on our own refusals. 🙂

The spots are easy to correct. It is also necessary to adjust the white balance slightly, or reduce the saturation by an ounce. You can then resubmit.

The composition is indeed not really great, but potential buyers have a lot of white space…

Adobe Stock is not social media where everything posted gets published.  Adobe Stock is a global business that connects talented artists with millions of potential customers around the world.

Stock is looking for high quality, commercial-ready artwork that's suitable for use in magazines, TV commercials, billboard ads, digital marketing, print and merchandise like t-shirts & tote bags.

Carefully read the submission guidelines below and other tips in your Stock Contributor User Guide.

Before you submit, compare your work with current Stock inventory.

  • Is it as good or better than what Stock has?
  • As a customer, would you buy this over what's already available?
  • What would you use it for?

Hope that helps.  Good luck.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the image were the dust spots.  It's a safe bet that these will always lead to a Quality Issues rejection.

I don't think this is a particularly strong image compositionally.  The moon is too small and doesn't fill enough of the sky in my opinion, and I think the blurry trees pull the viewers attention away from the moon.  I would try a longer focal length for this one.

Cheers!
