I submitted this photo for moderation and it was rejected. I'd like to know why and what I can do to improve it so I can resubmit it.

It is a nice picture, but it is completely unsharp. You deleted the EXIF data, so I cannot check the exposure time, but I would guess that it was a handheld shoot with a small sensor camera. In addition, there is clipping in the picture, and you have colour noise, perfectly visible in the water.

There is nothing that you can do to enhance the asset so that it gets accepted by Adobe stock. You can, however, enhance the contrasts and post it on social media, and earn many likes.

The almost totally black foreground is one issue; the blurry objects in the sky (birds?) is another.

What was the rejection reason?

  • Similar Content —Stock already has 30 million sunsets/sunrises.
  • Quality/Technical issues —insufficient light, too dark, foreground lacks any details.

Both are valid reasons for rejection.

Good luck.
