Photo rejected as being AI, but it’s not

Good afternoon all,

I am completely new to Adobe as a contributor (used other sites in the past) & would appreciate some advice.

My second upload has been rejected on the basis of being AI, but it's not & I have the RAW file to prove.. ( I did use burn for the background in Photoshop, if I had used AI, I'd have made sure the baby gorillas face was showing as I was very disappointed 😀).

I'm just a bit concerned that my further photos will be rejected in a similar fashion, is there any way to ask for reconsideration?

Many thanks

Angela

Hello,

There isn't any chance of asking for reconsideration. Check for quality issues and resubmit. Perhaps not use any AI method (if you did) for enhancing in Photoshop - just traditional tools.

Hm, that's a new rejection reason. Unfortunately, rejections are definite, and there is no way to ask for a reconsideration. If you are normally removing the EXIF camera data, don't do. That could be a nice indication that the asset is a real picture.

If it gets again refused, contact contributor support. As I said, rejections are definite, but there may be possibilities to get Adobe to reconsider their rejection, even that my hopes for this are low. Anyone would appeal here for the most useless asset.

Oh, the irony. We worried that AI would be mistaken for photos, but photos are being mistaken for AI.

Many thanks, much appreciated. Nope not 1 bit of AI used, I wouldn't even know where to start 😂

This has happened to me on a few occassions. Unfortunately, there is no way to address the problem. Sometimes, it is just the wrong reason. Check for and repair "quality" problems and resubmit.
