Photo rejected for AI reason without any AI involved

My photo was rejected with the following message: "Missing Generative AI Flag". No AI was involved in the photo and I have the RAW to prove it. What can I do?

Hello,

Quality most likely.

For example, this could cause a problem with quality:

Feathers have no detail in them, contrasted with:

It is a difficult shot as you have black and white together, so getting the correct exposure will be hard.

Isn't the point here: why are the moderators rejecting original content because they don't understand how photography works? How long before AI & real can't be distinguished, anyway? It seems that, in the metadata of a photo, adobe has for a VERY long time, made sure to inject as much superfluous, unnecessary, and even data consuming information as they possibly can. While that needed to stop 10 years ago - if an image is 100% AI generated, why wouldn't there be a new metadata addition for AI, percentage wise, as of the date of creation? Seems like a no-brainer.

It appears to me that the moderator checked the wrong reason. I have seen this happen before. I feel you have quality problems. The focus (depth of field) is too shallow.

When this happens, we've been recommending that the contributor resubmit with a property release to show the moderators they own the asses. But that's usually for people submitting art work. Not sure why it would be necessary for a photograph, but you could try it. Another possibility is that the moderator selected the incorrect reason for rejection.
